Our First Week at Home

This is a bird's eye view of the temporary nursery we set up while
Jack was on the light therapy. Very close quarters!

This is Jack in his cradle. It was the same cradle that Dave
and his brothers slept in when they were babies!
I think it's beautiful. :-)

Mommy's little glowbug.

Sometimes Jack really enjoys having conversations with us while propped up on the Boppy.
I especially like his little "moose feet" in this outfit.

Here he is in the Boppy again.
This child is obsessed with sucking on things.
My finger was extremely pruney after this encounter.

Our boy is so modest--he absolutely hates being naked!
The sponge bath experience was a walk in the park, needless to say.

He was a lot happier wrapped up in the towel.

  1. bath hint: To save your back & unnecessary naked baby time, do your baths in the baby tub placed in the kitchen sink (most tubs have a little ridge for the sink divider)or on the kitchen counter. It gets really wet later in life, but it seemed much more convenient for us and we moved the tub to the bathtub when he got too splashy!!
